I am married to Dr. Handan Ungan, a Family Medicine Specialist, and we currently practice together in the same clinic.
Our daughter, Nazlı Ungan Aygar, holds a Master of Science degree from New York University (NYU) and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Columbia University. She is an attorney admitted to the New York State Bar. She is married to Alp Aygar, an electrical and electronics engineer with a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence. He is part of the AI development team at Apple in San Francisco, USA.
Our son, Efe Ungan, recently graduated as a medical doctor from Koç University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Class of 2025.
